Nathalia Faribault
Nathalia was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. After high school graduation, Nathalia attended the University of Minnesota for two years. She then moved to Paris, France. While in France, she lived with an American family and studied at the Sorbonne. Upon her return, Nathalia began a career with Northwest Airlines, fulfilling her dream of travel and adventure. Keeping true to her adventurous nature, Nathalia’s additional previous employment experience includes working in an antique shop, an art gallery and a florist shop. She also established one of the first franchises of Great Clips for Hair.
After raising her two sons (now married with families) and selling the last of her seven Great Clips salons, which she operated for 20 years, she met and married her present husband. They moved to Colorado in the early 2000’s. As her husband planned his retirement from the business he began in electronic security, Nathalia began a new career as a fashion consultant and an inventor!
As the creator and designer of the Birdie Belt (a woman’s golf accessory), Nathalia’s invention was trade-marked, patented and licensed to the world-wide manufacturer and distributor, Glove It. The Birdie Belt was recently honored as the Winner of the Fall 2010 PGA Expo’s Best New Product!
Nathalia became a member of Fashion Group International shortly after moving to Colorado and was soon asked to serve on the Executive Board of Directors as Secretary for the years of 2008 and 2009. She currently co-chairs the Program Committee for FGI, Denver Region.
Nathalia will co-chair with Tommy Collier, the 6th bi-annual Rising Star Awards and Celebration event to be held Oct. 8th, 2011 at the Red Line Gallery – Click HERE for more information.
